Patriotic Alliance

Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Location: Books A Million, NW 13th Street

Commemoration of the Home Front I World War II with local residents available to answer questions about life on the Home Front. Visitors can sample a piece of Wartime Cake – egg less, butter less and milk less to to reflect the impact of wartime rationing. Patriotic and Historical Alliance of North Central Florida will record visitors of the home front era that remember those years. Veterans from WWII. Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan will set up displays of their service in their respective theater of war.

SPECIAL Meeting

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Location: 1st United Methodist Church, Alachua FL

WE WILL BE PACKING EASTER BOXES FOR THE TROOPS.
6:30pm Covered dish dinner, introduction of guests, reading of letters, sharing of news, and packing of boxes.

We will be sending special boxes for Easter. Pick up special items as you see them for the holiday and bring them to pack in the boxes.
